Everything You Want to Know About Writing and More, Much More
Everything you want to know about writing? Really?
Maybe not quite everything you want to know, but certainly more, much more.
Is this a contradiction on the cover? Not at all! The "more" refers to the things you probably don't know you need to know. And those, oh fellow writers, are the very things that can trip you up and leave you with egg all over your manuscript's face.
Because it's such a big subject, this book is broken into three volumes; the yellow, the blue and the red.
Volume One, the yellow, which is the one you're looking at right now, contains the six powerful basics. In this volume you'll find Planning, Ideas, Plots, Characterisation, Style and Dialogue. You'll find tricks of the trade, common problems and how to avoid or to solve them, and a wide range of exercises which give you real material you can use for your books.
Everything You Want to Know About Writing and More, Much More comes to you directly from www.affordablemanuscriptassessments.com, the home of manuscript assessment you can afford.

Volume Two, the blue one, which is the one here contains more on some specific genres and subjects, or, to put it poetically, is about finding worlds in your words. In this volume you'll find Creating, Fantasy and Historical Settings, Non-Fiction, Picture Books, Children's Books, Metrical Verse and Networlding. Once more there's a wide range of exercises which give you real material you can use for your books.
Volume Three, the red book, has fewer exercises, because it's really one huge exercise in the authorial life. In this one you'll find Twenty Top Tips and Unwritten Rules of Writing, the A-Z of Writing, Self-Publishing, Writing a Manuscript Proposal, Special Projects, Whoops Words and You: The Author.
So, what's this then?
This is the whole kit and kaboodle, the three volumes reconstituted into one sprawling edifice; one mad castle of a book. Here it is... all 274000+ words of it. So, why is it green, purple and orange instead of blue, yellow and red? It seemed a good idea to differentiate it from the others. If the front cover was red or yellow or blue, (leaving the other two colours for the spine and back) and you saw only the front, or only the spine, or only the back, then it would masquerade as one of the others. This way it is clearly its own gaudy self.
These volumes are available from Lulu, and will be at Amazon (if they pass its standards test... maybe Amazon is not ready for a tri-colour sprawling edifice?) and directly from me. Retail price is currently $25 each for Volumes One, Two and Three, and around $60.00 for the three-headed monster- um, for the whole kit and kaboodle... I mean for the tri-coloured omnibus edition. That's AUD and fluctuates with the dollar.
